When Kanye West has something on his mind, he doesn’t hold back. This weekend the target of his frustration was kids’ apps. The celebrity dad took to Twitter to blast app creators over money.
Kanye vented, “F—k any game company that puts in-app purchases on kids games!!!” He added, “That makes no sense!!! We give the iPad to our child and every 5 minutes there’s a new purchase!!! If a game is made for a 2 year old, just allow them to have fun and give the parents a break for Christ sake.”
I have to say that it’s interesting Kanye would pick “app greed” to complain about. Kim Kardashian and her sisters are making bajillions of dollars off their apps and namely the in-app purchases – an estimated $50,000 a DAY. Yes, these are not two year olds playing with her fashion app, but they’re still kids – teen and pre-teen girls mostly – whose parents are probably also frustrated over the money aspect. So, it’s a little odd for him to be upset about anyone making money from an app – no matter what the age.

In lighter Kanye news, he decided to relax and have a little fun this weekend. Kanye tried out for American Idol! He and wife Kim were in San Francisco and since Idol was there holding auditions, he decided to try out. Kim recorded it all, according to TMZ. It’s a rare treat to see the happier side of him!
